From human resources, accounting and finance to facilities management, distribution and logistics, third-party support service providers are playing an increasingly important (and strategic) role in organisations today. And demand is growing too.

Organisations are constantly looking to grow at a faster pace and gain an edge over their competition. This has increased the demand for support providers who can pick up a project and hit the ground running, which effectively frees the organisation from being constrained by large capital investments for people or equipment.

Opportunities within the support sector are numerous, and global. While the likes of India and Philippines have long been the major support hubs, South Africa and a growing number of Central and Eastern European states are rapidly emerging destinations for support specialists.
